Leadership Team
Ryan Waguespack
CEO
Ryan Waguespack is the CEO of Iberia Advisory, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. As the founder of Iberia, he is committed to helping federal agencies address financial management challenges.
Ryan has supported the Federal government as a financial management consultant following his distinguished military career. He has led numerous project teams and assisted organizations in attaining their goals in audit readiness, budget execution, and business process reengineering by developing and implementing solutions.
Ryan graduated from the United States Naval Academy and holds an MBA from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management. He also has several other industry certifications, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
Erica Mehm
President
Erica Mehm is the President of Iberia, responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction, growth, and delivery activities. She leads the team supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Financial Management & Comptroller (OASN (FM&C)).
Erica joins Iberia with 13 years of consulting experience and a passion for helping her clients with technology transformation with an audit-ready posture. She is a former Deloitte Senior Manager, where she led multiple Financial Management, Internal Controls, Audit Readiness, Data Analytics, and Organization Transformation projects.
Erica holds both an undergraduate degree and an MBA from St. Bonaventure University. She is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Ben Jones
Vice President
Ben Jones is Iberia’s Vice President, helping drive the company’s strategic operations, including the marketing, human capital, and corporate strategy efforts.
Ben Jones brings to Iberia nearly 20 years of management consulting, business operations, and communications experience in the federal, commercial, and international development sectors, closely advising industry leaders on strategic positioning, execution, and messaging. He joined from Deloitte, where he managed a portfolio of marketplace and board activities for the firm’s Chief Growth Officer, oversaw the Program Management Office for the U.S. Navy Financial Management Operations office, and led marketing for Deloitte’s international development account. He previously supported USAID and the U.S. Departments of State & Justice in a variety of project management and communications capacities. Ben earned his MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business in 2015 and his graduate degree in the History of International Relations from the London School of Economics in 2006. He is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
Jared Freire

Jared
Freire is Iberia’s Director of Talent, spearheading our mission to maximize the
success of our people by aligning their whole-person goals with our business
strategy.
Jared combines Career Coaching with a decade of human-centered leadership to advance Iberia’s mission with an industry-tailored perspective on Talent management. He is driven by a deep curiosity of organizational psychology, a passion for equipping humans to flourish at work, and a belief that thriving individuals make the most effective teams. Jared previously served audit and consulting clients at Deloitte where he built teams and strategies to tackle complex financial challenges across the U.S. Navy’s Office of Financial Operations and Fortune 500 companies. Jared earned his MS from Seton Hall University and, as a lifelong learner, he is actively enrolled in a Coach Training Program accredited by the International Coaching Federation, the gold standard of professional coaching.
Senior Advisors
Beverly Veit Senior Advisor
Beverly Veit serves as a Senior Advisor, leading the identification, qualification, and capture of Iberia’s management consulting business development opportunities and teaming partner engagements.
Beverly was appointed to the Senior Executive Service at NASA and retired after 33 years of Public Service in July 2016. She is an expert in Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) and Budget and Accounting Policy for General and Working Capital Funds, Enterprise Business Systems configuration and implementation, development and management of Internal Controls, Business Process Documentation, and Audit Response and Remediation. Beverly graduated from Elon College and received a Master’s Degree in Public Financial Management from the American University. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
Bishop Garrison Senior Advisor
Bishop Garrison serves as a Senior Advisor, overseeing Iberia’s governance structure and providing advice and counsel on market and growth objectives.
Bishop served in the Obama 2012 Re-election Campaign and later in the administration in a variety of national security roles. Following his time in the administration, he served as the Deputy Foreign Policy Adviser on the presidential campaign of Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton. Most recently, he served in the Biden Administration in the Senior Executive Service as the Chief of Staff, Selective Service System. Prior to this role, Bishop served for over a year as the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense for Human Capital and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Bishop graduated from the United States Military Academy and William and Mary School of Law. He is the recipient of two Bronze Stars, a Meritorious Service Medal, and a Combat Action Badge.
